MIAMI TRANSFER GUIDE

MIA taxi, rideshare, shuttle or private transfer?

Compare the complete journey rather than a headline fare.

Taxi and ride-app choices

Use the airport’s designated taxi queue for an on-demand cab. For rideshare, the app supplies the current pickup instructions and price. MIA currently lists a USD 15 minimum for airport-origin taxi journeys and a USD 2 airport origination fee. Check the official page for the full meter schedule and applicable larger-vehicle surcharge. These taxi rules are separate from our private-transfer budgets.

Compare like with like

Compare the same date, passenger count, luggage, destination and vehicle class. Ask whether tolls, airport charges, parking, waiting, child seats and gratuity are included or payable separately. Our price table contains published-rate sample references rather than a live market average.

Hotel and cruise shuttles

Check your actual accommodation or cruise booking for included transport. Shared transport can involve departure windows and multiple stops. An included shuttle may be economical, while a private car may offer more control over the itinerary.

Public transport alternative

The MIA Mover connects the terminal with the intermodal transport facilities. Check current rail and bus routes, luggage practicality and the final walk to your address. Miami Beach does not have a direct Metrorail station at each hotel.
